Celebrate Pride at the MacPhee Centre with a relaxed hands‑on drawing workshop exploring colourful flowers and leafy plants!
In this workshop participants will learn simple still‑life techniques that make drawing feel relaxed and creative. From observing shapes, sketching what you see, and adding expressive details, participants will be invited to set up easels in our garden or alongside our hydroponic tower and literally draw inspiration from nature. From pansies to green carnations and Lavender Menace, we will also explore how flowers have and continue to be powerful symbols of joy and resistance for the LGBTQIA+ community.
This workshop is sponsored by Claudia Chender, MLA Dartmouth South, Leader of the Official Opposition NSNDP
Please note that this workshop prioritizes youth participants but will also open to the general public.
